ABOUT THIS SITE
Okay, so why does this site exactly exist? I really have absolutely no idea, other than the fact that I just wanted to make a personal site and goof off with HTML and put some random stuff on there...
Y'know, I guess I dabbled a bit in this brand of web design back when I was but a little young lad (at the age of 11-12), but that skill was long lost for a little while until just recently (and there have also been quite a few changes, apparently, writing this isn't exactly like I remember it.) Yeah, so I found out you could host a website for free with this Neocities thing (and I have absolutely no clue what rabbit hole I went down to get here), so I thought, why the hell not, because people have been doing really cool things with the internet since its invention, and I figured I could learn to do that. Just for fun, I guess.
I also kind of enjoy journaling in my free time (I have tons of notebooks and stuff laying around), and while I wouldn't keep my deepest, darkest thoughts up on the internet... Maybe it's a good idea to extend that digitally, where I can put loads of stuff on here, y'know... For absolutely everyone to see. But somehow I am still doing this for myself, because there's no guarantee that it will actually reach anyone. In fact, I'll be honest, there's a part of me that doesn't want anyone to see this.
I also don't wanna spend all my time on social media, because I have found it to be a huge time-waster, and man, I just feel sad after using it. Man, that just sucks. I've been wanting to spend less time on there, but it's hard. So in the meantime, I'll give myself a little project to do I guess (this site!!!). I can be kind of busy at times, though, so I don't know if I will be active about it, or if this thing will end up abandoned or whatever, but, y'know... We'll just see how it goes.
And, y'know, I would really just like to have a day where I don't use the internet or social media at all, and just do something else that's fun instead. That would definitely be a really nice break from things...

What, Monus Absurdum? It's fake latin that came to me in a dream. Doesn't mean anything. Just decided to name the site this just to have a name. there y'go!
